Why is it important to support the Education Foundation of Wauwatosa?

• EFW grants support innovative and creative programs not covered in the core budget.
• Changes in funding sources and funding caps are putting pressure n district budgets throughout the state.  Our District has implemented fixes which maintain the high-quality for next year but these are not sustainable in the long term.
• Strong public schools lead to successful productive adults in our community.
• Strong public school systems have a direct correlation to strong property values.

We cannot take our high quality public school system for granted.  Your support of the Education Foundation of Wauwatosa will fund grants for innovative and creative programs which impact students from all grade levels throughout the entire District.

The foundation will soon add the option of making on-line donations, both personal and corporate. In the meantime, if you would like to make a donation, please e-mail Kathy Ehley.

The Education Foundation of Wauwatosa is a public foundation and qualifies for corporate matching gifts.  Please check with your employer to find out about your matching gift program and if EFW would qualify for a matching gift.  You can double the impact of your donation with a corporate matching gift..

Each year, the Education Foundation of Wauwatosa (EFW) formally recognizes Wauwatosa's outstanding teachers at the foundation's Annual Celebration. In addition to celebrating all the great successes from the classroom, the foundation also holds its annual meeting.
